bad advertising hates kids

This poor little kid must be so confused!

While trying to remind parents to keep a close eye on their children, this ads creator must have remembered how much he hated children.  This ad is in such bad taste, there has got to be a better way to go about this message.  While traumatizing kids with images of dead children on the bottom of the pool may seem like a golden idea–its not.

High Five also to the stupid guy who made this ad.  What did children ever do to you?  Im guessing you and the guy above have started a club in your mothers basement.  When you come up from the clubhouse, I have a great therapist I can refer both of you too.

6a00d8341c51c053ef0115703d964e970b-450wiAnother example of bad ad placement at its finest. What was going on when they put these billboards up!?  Separately they are acceptable ads.  But combined they become a super ad capable of offending people and putting awful visual pictures in their minds– all in one glance!  BOO on both of them for being so stupid!

ewe have gone too far.

Being innovative is one thing, but really?  This guy put coats (advertising for his train ticket booking website) on sheep that live in a field near the train tracks.  Creative– Sort Of.  Pushing the limits too far and being mean to harmless animals– Y  E  S.  This can only lead to more crazy things involving animals and I am just not having it.  Put the coats on your conductors and put up signs that the the train drives past, because your sheep idea is foul.

Okay really– lets pay close attention to how Sarah Palin is advertising on a page talking shit on George Bush’s torture policy…  I might be mistaken but people said during the election that Sarah Palin made Bush look like a liberal intellectual.  Also, the Huffington Post they said it perfectly, “Underneath all the Tina, she’s George.”  So clearly the person that thought it would be a good idea to run this ad is a dumb-ass.  How hard is it to make sure that your ads don’t run on pages with content contradicting what you are trying to say!  Its called targeting people!!!

The sheer fact that this ad even was allowed to be seen in public amazes me. Not only is this woman wearing skankalicious lingerie– she is straddling a light pole !?! It might just be me but– I swear I can see her pubic hair. Well at least the hair (on her head) matches the faint logo in the upper left hand corner… Also, great job in incorporating two ad spaces and also using the light pole as a part of the ad, but really? Think of the poor mothers and nannies that have to cover their children’s eyes when they pass these ads. Your Grandmother would be ashamed!!!

scare the fat out of you.

obesity-is-suicide2Obesity is Suicide ?  Good message… but while strapping sticks of butter to someone might have been a questionable thought for about one second (or less), this ad is ridiculous.  Other ads that went with this campaign might have shown someone jumping off a cliff into a deep valley of cookies, and another with someone hanging themselves with a bucket of red vines.  Sadly the ideas are endless.

kids love burgers –and square butts??

Oh Burger King, please stop trying to sell your burgers to the children of the world with dancing women who have square butts!!!! (well really its a rectangle, but no need to get technical when your on national television right??)   While the childish colors and use of sponge bob might seem like all fun and games, if you think parents are down with your booty shaking commercial you must be trippin’.  Also this ad is just plain confusing! Are you trying to sell me sponge bob, phone books, or burgers? I’m lost…but after seeing this ad it looks like you are too.
